According to the Nea charter, Alameda residents are given preference in admission to the school. Children currently enrolled in or residing in the catchment zone for district schools closest to ACLC are given particular priority. Alameda residents help support the school through their Measure A property taxes.
Children of staff and Board members, along with siblings of current learners are also given priority in admissions.
If you live outside of Alameda...
While Alameda residents receive priority in the admission process, residents of neighboring communities have been admitted to all grade levels, depending on availability.
If you are not a resident of Alameda, don't hesitate to apply. Many children from outside Alameda have had the opportunity to attend our school.
