After School Choices at Nea
Depending on your after school needs, we offer a variety of choices for after school activities for both Upper Village and Lower Village learners. Some require payment, and some are free.
- Nea Aftercare Program: The after care program runs from when the school day ends until 6pm daily. The cost is $5 per hour. Please note that your learner will be checked-in to the aftercare program automatically at 3:15 if they have not been picked up. - Alameda Education Foundation: We are proud partners with the Alameda Education Foundation. The Alameda Education Foundation offers specialty after school classes such as Spanish, Tennis and Ceramics. The costs vary by class and occur once or twice per week. - Boys & Girls Club: The Boys & Girls Club is located on our school campus, on the far side of the blacktop behind the school. B & G Club offers aftercare programming for learners starting at the age of 6. They are open when the school bell rings until 6:30 daily. Membership is $100 for the year. - Alameda Arts: An after-school arts enrichment program catering to working families. Their mission is to support the inherent creativity of every child through caring relationships and access to rich and varied mediums and activities. Alameda Arts also has an annual summer camp.
