ACLC Constitutional Convention on 11/16
Posted 11/15/2012 05:56PM

On the back on an exciting national election, the ACLC leadership class plans to engage all learners in bettering ACLC's own democratic society.

On Friday, November 16th, Leadership will host the annual ACLC Constitutional Convention and Thanksgiving Feast at school in lieu of regular academic classes.

The Constitutional Convention is a one-day event when the entire community comes together to have their voices heard about issues in our school in order to initiate change. Throughout the morning there will be six different topic stations, and learners will have the opportunity to attend four stations of their choosing to discuss issues.

The Leadership class has used learner feedback to create a schedule for the day of leadership-learner run and facilitator-supervised stations.  After an incredible morning, the Constitutional Convention will be followed by ACLC's annual Thanksgiving Feast.
